About Me
I grew up in Middlebury, Vermont as the oldest of four children. I was the first in my family to go to college, and I was lucky enough to meet the woman who would become my wife while I was there in Waterville, Maine. After college, we moved up the coast to Bar Harbor where I worked in a glaucoma research lab for two years. We got married and then immediately moved down to Pennsylvania where I attended a one-year graduate studies program and then started medical school. My wife and I welcomed our first child into the world and then moved to Vermont, then New York, and finally New Hampshire while I completed medical school clinical rotations. Lastly, I completed my family medicine residency training in Manchester, Connecticut.
As I move on to my new job at WHIMP, I look forward to strengthening my ties to the Hartford area and building a home for the long term. My family and I have fallen in love with Connecticut's seasonal events, parks, and more. My wife gave birth to our second child in the summer of 2022, and our little family is very happy here. My wife is a cake decorator in Rocky Hill, and our kids attend the local schools/daycares. We love being a part of our community as friendly faces that you may see at the grocery store, school sports, or professionally to help promote the health and happiness of all of our neighbors!
